CID Board of Directors Meeting

CID Modeler's Meet (In-person)
Saturday, October 3 2026  10 AM - 3 PM
The fall modelers meet will be held at the Irvington Presbyterian Church on the east side of Indianapolis.   Bring current projects to show-off your modeling efforts!

"Ops Day" 2026
Saturday, October 24, 2026
The CID / NMRA is hosting an Ops Session at 13 different locations on October 24th.  The layouts are in the Lafayette, Indy, and Bloomington areas.  Check your e-mail for details (and please sign-up by Oct. 3rd!).

Annual Model Railroad Meet at the
Carmel Clay Public Library

Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026     10 AM - 3 PM
The annual display at the public library in Carmel, IN is in early November; this event features layouts and displays (no vendors!).

Danville (Indiana) Train Show
Saturday, November 21, 2026
Enjoy the Danville Show on November 21st, featuring multiple rooms of vendors, various displays, and many layouts.  And a note about 2026's event, there will be no 100' x 100' competition at the Danville Show this fall.

The National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) is our parent organization.  The unique organization establishes standards to make all the products of our hobby work together in a reliable and consistent manner.  They also help organize events and shows, publish an annual calendar and monthly magazine, and so much more!
