In-Person Track Talk Lunch & Layout Tour
Saturday, March 14, 2026 12 Noon
CID members are invited to meet at the MCL restaurant at 6010 East 10th Street, Indianapolis, at 12:00 noon for a lunch (dutch treat!). Afterwards, everyone will head to Jack Simpson's home in nearby Irvington to see his renovated layout.
Fort Ben Library Train Display
Saturday, April 4, 2026 10 AM - 3 PM
Another display event (layouts only, no vendors) will be held in April 2026, at the Fort Ben Public Library on the east side of Indianapolis.
Modelers Meet / Carmel Clay Library
Saturday, April 11, 2026 10 AM - 3 PM
The next in-person meet will be held at the Carmel Clay Public Library in mid-April.

There are some outstanding layouts around the Central Indiana Division of the NMRA. Many of the layouts were featured in our NMRA "Highball to Indy" 2016 National Convention!

The National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) is our parent organization. The unique organization establishes standards to make all the products of our hobby work together in a reliable and consistent manner. They also help organize events and shows, publish an annual calendar and monthly magazine, and so much more!
